First Weekend of December

This past weekend the boys played at the City of Broomfield Tree Lighting Ceremony with Mrs. Delevoryas' students. They played inside the City Hall building. Last year we weren't able to participate, so this was their first year playing at this venue. Benjy was so fun to watch-- he only knew two of the songs, but I think he thought he was supposed to know more of them. He stood and fake played for several songs, looking around with his wide, guilty eyes while bowing in rhythm. Both boys did a great job!
Saturday my friends threw me a baby shower. Since Justin and I don't know the gender and it's our fourth child, my friend Jessi decided to have a "pamper Sarah" theme for the shower. Gifts included lotions, soaks, candles, fuzzy socks, books, and gift cards for music and TV series (like Fixer Upper, courtesy of Jessi). We ate and visited and had a great, low-key time.

My friend Sarah made a sexy mama cake for the party. We all had a good laugh over it!
Saturday evening I worked and Justin and the kids went out to look at Christmas lights. Now they know where all the good places are to take me to!

Here are some random pictures. Most of them belong in the collection, "What happens when the kids get hold of my phone."
